Tata Power sells 100% of its stake in Trust Energy Resources to Tata Power International

Tata Power signed a share purchase agreement on July 22, 2021 with Tata Power International (TPIPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, for the sale of the 100% stake held in Trust Energy Resources (TERPL) , another wholly owned subsidiary of the corporation for a consideration of $ 285.64 million.

TERPL will remain a wholly owned subsidiary of TPIPL and will merge with TPIPL in due course, subject to regulatory approvals.
